No private case intake. No child names. No confidential records.

Keep public reform work separate from private case facts, emergency needs, and confidential material.

What this site is

JTforME is a campaign, public-record, citizen-initiative, and Maine family-help routing hub. It helps readers find public information, official doors, practical public tools, and source-backed policy material.

What it is not

No private case intake

This site is not a private case file system, legal-advice service, emergency service, therapy service, court filing portal, or confidential evidence dropbox.

Do not send through public links

  • Child names, addresses, school details, medical details, or identifying facts.
  • Sealed records, confidential exhibits, private allegations, screenshots, custody documents, or child-protection records.
  • Anything that could put a child, survivor, parent, witness, or helper at risk if made public.

Use the right door instead

  • Immediate danger: call 911.
  • Emotional crisis: call or text 988, or call the Maine Crisis Line at 1-888-568-1112.
  • Abuse, coercive control, stalking, or sexual assault: use a safe device and contact a qualified advocate.
  • Case-specific help: use official agencies, qualified counsel, legal aid, or trusted professionals.
Public-use standard: when sharing a story for public reform, strip identifying details, keep the claim narrow, avoid sealed or confidential material, and point readers to official or primary sources whenever possible.

Pages this policy governs

The rule applies across public story material, public-review/RFC material, initiative feedback, public packets, downloads, and cross-site routes. The safer rule is simple: if it identifies a child or belongs in a private file, do not put it on a public campaign website.
